I was jolly chuffed to be invited to the Mothercare Oxford Circus store launch last night and when we arrived I had my name on the guest list with Daddy as my +1, so that was super grand and important.

Inside lots of nice people said hello and gave me a goodie bag of treats and plenty of Happy Monkey Smoothies to drink.

We got to play with toys in the store, see the elves and run around – and there were lots of ladies handing out canapés and Christmassy cakes too.

Myleene Klass designs a collection for Mothercare called Baby K – they do really good snow suits and Myleene is pretty clever cos she has two kids of her own so she knows which bits wear out from playing on kids’ clothes…Daddy meets a lot of famous people and said for a famous person she is ever so nice.

I also saw Sarah Cawood at the party with her new baby Autumn, who is really small and slept all the time, even when they brought the cakes ’round.

Daddy bought something for Mummy and something for me, I got my feet measured and pulled a few things off the rails with excitement.

When we got home me and Mummy had a midnight feast with all the nice things I got in the goodie bag like raisins and Pom Bears and Babybel.

Mummy said I should say a big thank you to the Mothercare staff for being so patient with all the chaos. It is a very nice place and I think I shall go back soon.
